Hearing Aid Solutions are pleased to say that we are now open for Ear Wax Removal in Llanelli! Returning is going to be a difficult task for us all but we are doing our absolute utmost to make things as safe as we possibly can for you, and for us.
Are we Covid-19 compliant?
The health and well-being of you and your families are of the utmost importance. We are following the latest guidelines from BSHAA and implementing strict procedures to ensure the safety and welfare of all our clients and employees.
As you can see from the photo of Martyn (our Head Audiologist) – we are using single use full PPE for every client that comes in the door.
We have also doubled our appointment time for clients to allow us to fully sanitise the room, and dispose of and change the PPE.
How do we remove ear wax?
Hearing Aid Solutions usually remove ear wax via microsuction. It’s called microsuction because we use a microscope to look in your ear canal, and a suction probe to remove the wax/debris build up.
We are also qualified to remove wax via traditional irrigation (commonly known as ear syringing), manual removal and endoscopic removal.
How much does it cost?
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic we have had to double our appointment time per client, as well as introduce full PPE for our staff and strict cleaning procedures.
As a result we have had to increase our prices to £60 for one ear and £80 for two ears. If there is no wax, there is a £20 consultation charge.
If you have been to us before, let us know as you will be getting a £5 discount per ear.
How to book an appointment?

Where are you in Llanelli?
Our clinic is located just a few doors down from Jenkins Bakery on Thomas St – opposite Next Generation Barbers. There is a car park behind the clinic (the same one for Ashgrove GP Surgery).
What policies do you have in the clinic?
As you can see from the photos below, the clinic looks a little different. We’re only allowing one household in at a time. The door is locked: once we let you in, we ask you to sanitise your hands, provide you with a mask and take your temperature.
