Hearing Tests
Your initial consultation and Hearing Test is much more thorough and comprehensive than the free hearing tests offered by the high street chain providers.
Your fully-diagnostic hearing test includes a comprehensive medical history, in-ear examination, the hearing test, middle ear function test (if required) and speech testing.
Hearing Tests are £35 and we encourage you to bring your partner or close friend, for example, to the appointment.
Hearing Aids
Hearing Aid Solutions matches you the right level of technology, manufacturer and style to your individual preferences and hearing needs.
Our hearing aids include our initial testing and professional fitting using Real Ear Measurements (you won’t find these fitting standards anywhere with high street services).
Our hearing aids come with our award-winning unlimited aftercare for the life of the devices.
Earwax Removal
A blocked ear can be uncomfortable, isolating and painful. The safest way to remove earwax is to see a professional at Hearing Aid Solutions.
We are qualified to remove ear wax via micro suction, the more traditional method of irrigation, and using manual instruments.
We charge £50 for one ear, or £70 for two ears. If there is no wax, there is a £25 consultation charge.
Custom Made Protection
Hearing Aid Solutions provide a wide range of custom made earplugs. With bespoke solutions from a variety of manufacturers, you can prevent hearing damage and protect your quality of life.
Each set of moulds are tailored to fit the individual and therefore allows for maximum protection and comfort.
We can source hearing protection for almost anything so if you are unsure if we can help, get in touch and we’ll let you know.
Custom made hearing protection starts at £60 but contact for our extensive price list.
Tinnitus Support
Patients often tell us that they’ve been told or they believe nothing can be done to help them with their tinnitus – this simply isn’t true, there is plenty we can do to help with tinnitus.
Every person’s experience of tinnitus is different and so it’s important to us that we treat each person as an individual to come up with a bespoke care plan.
Our tinnitus consultations include a thorough medical history, otoscopic examination, and fully dialogistic audiometry test and is £95.
Hearing Aid Registration
If you are not happy with the level of service from your current hearing aid provider, then for a fee we can register you as one of our own.
The pricing includes a fully diagnostic hearing test, hearing aid clean/check and initial adjustment to the hearing aid(s).
Registration with us costs £195 and any further sessions required will be charged at £50 per appointment.
Hearing Aid Cleaning
We pride ourselves on our ability to solve problems on the spot. If you are a client of ours, we do not charge, nor do we require you to have an appointment to have your hearing aids professionally cleaned.
All we ask if that you leave your hearing aids with us for 15-20 minutes and we’ll have them as good as new.
Home Visits
Hearing Aid Solutions do provide home visits as one of our services, but it depends on location and availability – if you’re not sure, just ask!
Home visit hearing tests are £70 but the fee is waived if aids are purchased. Ear wax removal home visits are £120 whether or not it’s one or two ears. For both ear wax removal and a test, its £155.
