Have You Been Told Nothing Can Be Done? That Is Not True!
It is one of the most common things we hear from patients who come to us about tinnitus. They have already seen someone, been told there is nothing that can be done, and learned to live with it as best they can. We understand why that happens, but we want to be clear: there is plenty that can be done, and we are here to help.
Tinnitus affects people in very different ways. For some it is a mild background noise that comes and goes. For others it is a constant presence that affects sleep, concentration, relationships and quality of life. Whatever your experience, it deserves to be taken seriously and treated as the individual condition it is.

A Service Built Around Your Needs
No two cases of tinnitus are the same, which is why we do not take a one size fits all approach. Every patient who comes to us for tinnitus support receives a bespoke care plan built around their specific symptoms, history and circumstances. Our aim is not just to manage the condition but to make sure it is not taking over your life.
Our tinnitus service is led by Sarah, who has over 16 years of NHS clinical audiology experience and is a member of the British Tinnitus Association. You are in experienced hands.

FAQ
It’s never too late. We see patients who have been managing tinnitus on their own for many years and find that the right support still makes a real difference. Whatever stage you’re at, we’d encourage you to come and talk to us.
Not necessarily. Hearing aids can be helpful for some people with tinnitus, particularly when there is also an element of hearing loss, but they are just one of several tools available. Your care plan will be built around what works best for you as an individual.
Intermittent tinnitus is still worth having assessed. Understanding what might be triggering it, ruling out any underlying causes, and having a plan in place for when it flares up can all make a meaningful difference. Early support often leads to better outcomes, so it’s worth coming in sooner rather than waiting until it becomes more persistent.
Your consultation includes a thorough review of your medical history, an examination of your ears, and a full diagnostic hearing assessment. From there, we build a bespoke care plan tailored to your experience of tinnitus – because no two people experience it in exactly the same way. The consultation costs £195.
Yes — and this is one of the most important things we want people to know. Many people are told, or come to believe, that nothing can be done. That simply isn’t true. While there is currently no single cure for tinnitus, there is a great deal we can do to reduce its impact, help you manage it, and significantly improve your quality of life. You don’t have to just live with it.
